Good morning! We hope everybody successfully sprang forward. The bracket for the men’s Big 12 tournament has been released, softball takes care of business, and baseball suffers it’s second road loss of the season.

Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament Bracket Revealed. Expect more on this from the inimitable Dan Swany, but the LAJ has a quick look at the bracket for the conference tournament. 10 seed Texas Tech plays 7 seed Texas at 8 PM on Wednesday (game will be televised on ESPNU). Winner gets the pleasure of playing Iowa State & Fred Hoiberg, the second best looking coach of any sport in the conference. #TeamKingsbury

Softball Wins Double Header. The softball team pulled closer to a .500 record with wins against UT Martin & Utah Valley yesterday in the Texas Tech Invitational. The win against UT Martin broke a 6 game losing streak, so let’s hope things continue to look up in Coach Gregory’s inaugural season.

There’s No Place Like Home. Tech baseball (10-3) is now 0-2 on the road, dropping its second game to the Cal State Fullerton Titans 3-2. Interesting stat in the article: Tech is 22-27 all time in games played in the state of California. Never good when geography can “scoreboard” you.

Recruits Being Recruits. 24/7 has a collection of tweets from Junior Day recruits in cosplay  in their hopefully future uniforms. Hashtags, emojiis, and excellent hair decisions abound.
