Baseball Takes Game 1 from Oklahoma State. A huge Friday night win for Texas Tech as they beat Oklahoma State, 5-3. I’ve updated the weekend thread with a full recap and highlights. If you just want to see highlights, we’ve got you covered.

Softball Drops Game One to UT. A close game and Texas Tech just didn’t have enough as they dropped game 1 to Texas, 4-3. Texas scored a run in the 6th inning to take the lead and Texas Tech couldn’t rally a comeback. Game two starts today at 2:00 pm.

Men’s Tennis Falls to Texas; Women’s Tennis Rolls. The men’s team lost in the first round of the Big 12 Championship, losing to #10 Texas, 4-3. I am almost sure that the men’s team will be selected to be part of the NCAA Tournament, and their selection day is Tuesday at 4:30 pm. The women’s team rolled past Oklahoma, 4-0 and will play Oklahoma State at 3:00 pm today.

Women’s Golf In Second Place. The women’s golf team is currently in second place after round one of the Big 12 Championship at The Dominion Country Club in San Antonio. Texas Tech (289) is 7 strokes back of Baylor (282).

Track and Field at the Drake Relays. I’m admittedly awful at figuring out all of these things, but the men’s and women’s team are competing at the Drake Relays and the men’s 4×100 and 4×400 and women’s 4×400 all qualified for the finals, including Nigel Bethel II being part of that 4×100 team. Full details at the link.

Amaro Loves Jennie Bailey.  There are some tweets around the Twitter-verse saying that Jace Amaro is in Lubbock this weekend, so I watch out for that.
