Texas Tech linebacker Pete Robertson talks on the Double T Insider about the upcoming season, including the idea of trying to be a better vocal leader and try to get his teammates going. Interestingly, Robertson also notes that with new defensive coordinator David Gibbs, that he and Brandon Jackson will have much more freedom, just go up the field and make a play. He also says that Gibbs puts players in the right spot and that he’s personable around the football facility. Robertson said that head coach Kliff Kingsbury and defensive line coach Mike Smith stress how Robertson needs to be a more vocal leader and how David Gibbs stresses turnovers.
