Who Wins the Big 12? One more time from yesterday, I answered for the good folks at The Student Section as who who will win the Big 12.

Game Times Announced for Sam Houston St. and UTEP. Texas Tech announced that Texas Tech will kickoff against Sam Houston State at 2:30 on September 5th and UTEP at 2:00 on September 12th.

Big 12 Media Days. ESPN’s Jake Trotter and DMN’s Chuck Carlton both preview the Big 12 Media Days. Texas Tech is up on Monday and will send Kliff Kingsbury, Jared Kaster, Branden Jackson and DeAndre Washington.

Which Big 12 Coach Are You? The DMN had a neat deal where you answer some questions and it will tell you which Big 12 coach you are.

Patterson and UT. DMN’s Chuck Carlton reports that the Texas president has had discussions with UT athletic director three different times to discuss the president’s concerning regarding Patterson’s approach, which comes off as impersonal or arrogant.

Miscellaneous. ESPN’s Brandon Chatmon finishes up with week 14 and Texas Tech has a bye, as does most of the conferences, and ESPN has Texas Tech finishing 6th . . . DMN’s Michael DuPont has a look at the linebackers . . .
