Third Down Defense. ESPN’s Brandon Chatmon breaks down third down defense in the Big 12 and Texas Tech was last:

10. Texas Tech, 44.3: The Red Raiders’ long-standing struggles on third down continued in David Gibbs’ first season, as Tech allowed opponents to convert 49.6 percent of their third-down attempts in 2015. Even worse, Tech managed just 24 third-down sacks during this span.

Another Woman Steps Forward. KCEN featured a story about another woman who was raped by a current football player. Did want to add that I don’t think the discussion has been that sexual assaults on campus don’t happen, because they do, even at Texas Tech, what the story with Baylor has been is how they, which includes the coaches and the administration, have handled the situation. From the situation at Stanford to across the country, sexual assault is obviously very problematic and something that’s a significant problem. The reason why we’re discussing Baylor so much is how they dealt with, or didn’t deal with, those alleged sexual assaults.
