In a move that will both make Brian incredibly happy and possibly conflicted, Texas Tech and Oregon agree on a non-conference series beginning in 2023 in Lubbock and in Eugene, Oregon, in 2024 for the next season:

Texas Tech and Oregon have agreed on a two-game, home-and-home football series that will bring the Ducks to Lubbock in 2023 and then send the Red Raiders to Eugene the following season.

Texas Tech will host Oregon, a regular contender for the Pac-12 Conference title, on Sept. 9, 2023, before traveling to Eugene to complete the series on Sept. 7, 2024.

The Red Raiders have previously faced Oregon twice in school history as the two teams played a home-and-home series during the 1991 and 1992 seasons. The Ducks won both meetings with a 28-13 victory during the 1991 contest in Lubbock and then a 16-13 win the following year in Eugene.
