The Player Speaks: None that I could find, although you can listen to Chris Level and Aaron Dickens interview with Edwards on 97.3.

Scouting Report: Edwards a former top 200 player, and as you can see by the rating from his ESPN profile (ESPN does, I think, the best job of basketball in rating players) he was one of the top 25 players at his position and top 5 player in Indiana when he graduated. In fact, Edwards had offers from Cal, Illinois, Indiana, Purdue, Tennessee and UNLV as a senior at East Chicago Central High School in Indiana. But Edwards never qualified and he played last year at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas. As a freshman at TVCC, Edwards averaged 13.7 points, 5.5 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game while shooting 47.6% from the field and 30.9% from the three point line. He started in 31 of 35 games last year. I’ve always thought that the points per game doesn’t always translate from JUCO to Division I, but the shooting percentages do translate and to shoot that well from the field is impressive. We’ve only got video of Edwards in high school where he dunked a lot, but he’s incredibly quick and exhibits some excellent ball-handling as well as a pretty good ability to find open players. I like his jump shot and I don’t see a ton of flaws in that. He’s got a nice flick up to the rim in traffic that’s awfully nifty and seems to find the bottom of the rim (but it’s a highlight reel, that should be expected).
