Texas Tech holds the series lead 40-8 and a 17-3 record when the game is played in Lubbock. The Lady Raiders need to win tonight. This is the final game of the regular season with the Big12 Tourney starting on Friday March 3, 2017. Tech and TCU come into this game tied with the same record and the battle for the 8th spot in the Big12 standings. I know that is a very low goal to want to go into the Big 12 WBB Championship Tournament at the 8th spot but it is at least one notch above 9th position. It is also senior night and the Lady Raiders and Texas Tech Nation will be saying farewell to Ivonne CookTaylor. The Lady Raiders will have to control the flow and to defend against the 3-Pt shots. Tech needs to be aggressive on the boards and in the paint if they are to win this game.
