Congrats to receiver Keke Coutee, linebacker Dakota Allen, safety Jah’Shawn Johnson and safety Justus Parker for being named to the All-Big 12 2nd team (press release pdf). This is the first time that Texas Tech has had three or more defensive players earn 1st or 2nd team since 2012. Coutee was robbed a bit from making 1st team honors, Allen Lazard is the one guy of the first team guys, that also includes James Washington and David Sills, that I didn’t thnk deserved first team recognition.
