VIDEO: A Day in the Life of Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury

3:30 a.m. Arrive at the football facility, check cell phones, email and everything else. Work out while no one is watching.

5:30 a.m. Film study, watching North Carolina and Louisville from 2017. No idea who he is watching, but here are some highlights and he was watching Louisville on offense.

6:15 a.m. First summer workouts.

8:30 a.m. Staff meeting where the cameras go off. Notice that Jason Reed I think is sitting next to him, Kevin Johns is to his right and David Gibbs is essentially to his left (I believe that is Kenny Bell sitting directly to his left in the suit).

10:15 a.m. On his way to Chapparal airport where he’ll fly to Midland for last week’s appearance for the Red Raider Club.

11:00 a.m. Arrive in Midland for the Red Raider Club luncheon. I think Kingsbury has given this same speach for his tour through Texas this summer.

1:45 p.m. Arrive back in Lubbock and for lunch, he has salad, salmon and some Frito pie, which he says he tries to stay pretty lean as far as wha the eats. Notice all of the pens on his desk.

2:30 p.m. The team conditioning run is about to take place, as Kingsbury says in the video, this is where they find out who worked out during the break and who didn’t.

4:00 p.m. Team meal.

6:00 p.m. Kingsbury has the practice field to himself and uses this time to decompress, figure out what he’s going to do tomorrow, clear his head.
