Sorry I didn’t have a post last week. There were very little recruiting updates to share. Here’s your updates for this week:
Football 2019:
- Taurean Carter, 88 rated SDE, named a Top 5 of Arkansas, Michigan State, TCU, Texas and Texas Tech on Wednesday. Carter unofficially visited Texas Tech in early April.
- Brandon Joseph, 86 rated S, named his Top 3 of Arizona, Northwestern and Texas Tech on Wednesday. He also hinted that his commitment is coming soon.
- Alex Hogan, 86 rated CB/KR, will announce his commitment at 1 p.m. today (July 9th) between Colorado, Iowa State, Memphis and Texas Tech. Hogan was teammates with current Tech running back Ta’Zhawn Henry in high school.
- Enoch Jackson Jr, 84 rated DT, narrowed his list down to Arkansas, Clemson and Texas Tech on Sunday. He named Arkansas and Tech in his Top 6 prior to cutting his list down.
- Alan Orona, 75 rated K, committed to Texas Tech last week. I believe he does have a scholarship (per his 247sports profile). RedRaiderSports has a good story on the commitment.
Basketball 2018:
- Kevin McCullar, 94 rated PG/SF, committed to the Red Raiders on Thursday. I had a write-up about it, and so did the head honcho Seth C.
- Josh Mballa, 82 rated PF, committed to Texas Tech on Monday. I had a write-up on the commitment, as did RedRaiderSports.
