Texas Tech Sweeps Regional; Advances to Super Regional. This really deserves its own post, but time constraints say otherwise. Texas Tech and the baseball team swept through the Lubbock Regional, downing Dallas Baptist 3-0 yesterday, behind strong pitching performances all weekend (only 7 pitchers used all weekend long) and the mighty big bat of Cameron Warren. I’ve updated the Lubbock Regional thread so it’s all there, complete with highlights, from the weekend’s action. Texas Tech will face the winner of today’s game between Oklahoma State and UConn in Oklahoma City in next weekend’s super regional.

Texas Tech Basketball

Chris Beard Continues to be Awesome.

Culver Works Out For Lakers. Via the Lakers, Jarrett Culver worked out for the Lakers over the weekend as the Lakers have the #4 pick in the NBA Draft.

Check-In Weekend. This is the weekend when most of the new players arrive for the summer session and will be absolutely crushed when they have to go through the strength and conditioning program that the other players have been a part of for the past few weeks.

Camp Season. On the same day the coaches welcome players to campus, earlier in the morning, they were apparently in Huntsville.

Preferred Walk-on Blu Caylor Commits to Texas Tech. 2019 Stephenville linebacker Blu Caylor (6-2/220) committed to Texas Tech on Thursday or Friday of last week as a preferred walk-on.
