Texas Tech Basketball: Three Games Added to Schedule; Recruiting Update

The Big 12 announced schedule updates and changes, which includes 3 of the postponed games from earlier in the season. After the Texas game on Saturday, Texas Tech will play 3 games in 6 days.

March 2nd: TCU (6:00 p.m. on ESPN+)
March 4th: Iowa State (6:00 p.m. on ESPN+
March 7th: @ Baylor (3:00 p.m. on ESPN)

Baylor tried their best to get out of playing a handful of games, whether they had to cancel games because of Covid issues or whatever (I think they were off for 23 straight days) and I think Iowa State was off early because of Covid. This is 17 games for Texas Tech with the one game that they didn’t get was against Iowa State in Ames.

24/7 Sports’ Travis Branham spoke with 2022 center Enoch Boakye (6-10/240), who was originally committed to Michigan State, has now opened up his recruitment and that includes Arizona, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, UCLA, and Wake Forest.

Texas Tech: “It’s been really good just speaking to the head coach and the assistant coach texts me almost every day just keeping updates and building a relationship.”

Technically, Texas Tech has one scholarship available, Marcus Santos-Silva, but I would expect more to open up as the season ends (because that always happens).
