On the Gridiron
Episode 1 of The Brand is on the official site and I’ll post the YouTube video when it’s there. They very much lean into the NIL thing this first episode and spending money, including Cody Campbell stating that they were 6 months ahead of everyone else, including resources and a plan in place to do so. Then they discuss they underdog mentality of Texas Tech as a football program and fanbase. Skyler Gill-Howard also gives a nice talk during the first team meeting as well.
Sports Illustrated’s Bryan Fischer previews Texas Tech as the No. 14 team in the nation (according to him).
Lubbock Avalanche-Journal’s Don Williams on how the commitment of LaDamion Guyton is different than past big-name commits, like Brad Hastings, Jimmy Carmichael, Lloyd Hill, Bryon Hanspard, and others, in that Guyton isn’t from Texas:
CBS Sports’ Chris Hummer on teams expecting to rise and fall in win totals, with Texas Tech expected to rise.
ESPN’s Jordan Reid on the college teams with the most NFL talent, Texas Tech with 9 possible draft picks.
