If you ever wanted to know why Texas Tech is most likely safe in terms of realignment, this is it. They do put people in seats and there’s a large alumni base. Despite not seeing great football for a few years, people support Texas Tech. I also wonder what capacity is for each of the programs below Texas Tech, I would have thought that Oklahoma State and West Virginia both have capacity higher attendance. Boone Pickens Stadium has a capacity of 60,000 (although I’m not sure if this is 100% accurate, it may be 56,790) and Milan Puskar Stadium has a capacity of 60,000, while the official capacity for Jones AT&T Stadium is 60,454.
