Covid-19. Man what a day. I was in mediation all day yesterday, so I didn’t check my phone for most of the day and didn’t get home until after 7. So it appeared that all heck broke loose yesterday, including the suspension of the NBA season after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus (and thought it was funny to touch every microphone the night before mocking the idea that the virus could spread so easily is ironic at best). The NCAA Tournament will be played in front of only key personnel and it wouldn’t surprise me if the NCAA Tournament was eventually cancelled.

Amazingly, this virus and the spread of it is a math issue, compounding interest if you will, but most likely this is a calculus equation. In any event, I am also surprised that the spread of this virus is becoming a political talking point, but I would maybe just say that I’m not an expert. I am not a scientist and I have not studied the repercussions of viruses and how they spread. Staggering to think that there are people who have spent their entire lives studying these things. I won’t pretend to know to know how all of this works and I’d probably caution you to be wary of someone who has some hot-sports-opinions and maybe isn’t scientist and has only recently become an expert on the communicable diseases and viruses in general within the past 2 weeks. I don’t know if that’s reasonable and I’m sure that people will argue with that sentiment.
