According to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman, Texas Tech head coach Chris Beard has agreed to a 6 year extension:
Texas Tech has agreed to a new 6-year deal with Chris Beard, sources told ESPN. Beard is the Big 12 Co-Coach of the Year and a candidate for the National Coach of the Year.

A-J Media’s Carlos Silva, Jr. has the contract details:
Confirmed: Texas Tech head coach Chris Beard has agreed to a new contract worth six years, around $19.05 million. This locks him up into the 2023-2024 season, via a Tech spokesman.

This means that Beard will be a Red Raider to the tune of $3 million+ per year and Texas Tech Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt officially announced the signing:
“Coach Beard continues to elevate Texas Tech basketball to a record level of success,” Hocutt said. “Under his leadership, our program is going to continue to elevate to an elite level. I am extremely proud of the direction of his program and know that Red Raider Nation joins me in our level of excitement for the future.”
