Texas Tech volleyball fell to No. 8 Arizona State in straight sets. They had a rough go at it and will be back in action against Arizona on Friday at noon in Tucson.

The wife of Ivan Ortiz, who is one of the barbers for Texas Tech football was recently hit by a drunk driver and they hoped to raise $25,000 to pay for medical expenses and just to be able to live and this link was found and shared by BYU fans and I know that Red Raiders and maybe fans from all over the Big 12 have donated over $100,000 to help this family.

Combine those factors with this being a win-or-miss-the-Big 12-Championship game for the Red Raiders, and I’m going to pick the home team. I’m also going to pick them to cover. That’s a lot of points. But the Red Raiders haven’t played a game within 20 points that Morton started. They continue that streak against the Cougars and a true freshman QB. … Texas Tech 34, BYU 20.
