The game against the Cougars in Houston is set for 11:00 a.m. and will be televised on ABC / ESPN2. This is always a bummer because this gives you no time to tailgate in Houston. You’re just going to have to get up earlier and get things going.

A-J Media’s Carlos Silva, Jr. has a notebook from yesterday’s media availability, noting that Travis Bruffy and Clayton Hatfield are game-time decisions while as of right now, McLane Carter is still the back-up quarterback:

“I think they’re both right on track for what you hope,” Kingsbury said. “McLane having a spring (offseason) to continue to learn our offense and work at it. (It) helped him. And then Jett getting back and having the previous experience from the year before in our offense was good for him. Now, we’re just trying to get them to a high level, both of them. They both competed well. They’ve both done everything we’ve asked. You never really know what you have until you get into a live-game situations and the lights are on and it’s that moment. But, we feel comfortable with those guys.”

The official site released the game notes for the game against Arizona State. I didn’t notice anything new other than maybe Desmond Nisby and DeMarcus Felton are listed as an “or” between the two of them. Other than that, it looks the same (and that note may be the same from last week too). Oh, and there was this graphic there that I hadn’t noticed before with the record with each uniform combination.
