One More Sleep. Just one more sleep before Saturday night. Can’t wait. Oh, and there was so much basketball content that I felt like it needed its own post.

Kansas vs. Texas Tech. The Red Raiders open Big 12 play in Lubbock (they’ve had two Big 12 series on the road) starting today, first pitch is at 2:00, moved up from its usual slot because of expected rain this evening. The series thread will go up at noon.
It’s (finally) Big 12 baseball time in Lubbock.

Running Backs Making Waves. A-J Media’s Don Williams writes about running backs Ta’Zhawn Henry and SaRodorick Thompson are making waves thus far, Williams noted that Henry has put on 15 pounds and is up to 180, and head coach Matt Wells said that they can be complete backs:
“They can be complete backs for us,” Wells said. “They catch the ball out of the backfield. I think they can run between the tackles at a high rate.
“Both have enough speed and quickness to kind of be perimeter guys. They don’t shy away from contact as far as running the ball hard or for the protection part of it.”
