Texas Tech took the series against Oklahoma State with a 12-1 run ruled win in 7 innings yesterday. Texas Tech ended up winning a thriller of a first game 8-7 in the 10th inning, then lost lost game two 4-9. Red Raider Dugout has updates. And softball won 3 of 4 games in Maryland this weekend including a win over ranked Maryland, with the last game canceled on Sunday because of freezing temps. They will start conference play this weekend also in Austin.

I have not heard anything else about the basketball search. I did listen to the Locked on Texas Tech video from Friday with Casey Cowan and Chris Level and Level mentioned Randy Bennett from Saint Mary’s, James Borrego the former Charlotte Hornets head coach who is living in Albuquerque, as well as some of the names we know, which are Grant McCasland (who beat Sam Houston by 20 in the latest round of the NIT), Andy Kennedy at UAB (who plays Vanderbilt this week), and Paul Miss at Oral Roberts (who lost in the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament). Another name might be Ulric Maligi, currently the assistant and Kansas State and previously an assistant under Chris Beard at Texas Tech.
