Pretty light on links today, which will change with a likely press conference today for football. If you missed the Morning Stake on Saturday, there was an interesting article from former volleyball head coach Tony Graystone as well as some other links, like Darrion Williams’ next court date. Also, RC Maxfield on the Red & Black Report had an update on the court dates if YouTube is your thing.

On the Pitch

Texas Tech soccer defeated TCU 1-0 yesterday afternoon on what looked like to me as a set-piece, a free kick from around mid-field by Eleanor Hays who connected with Taylor Zdrojewski on a header directly to Kylie Bahr for the only goal of the game. The ladies return home, but will be in Provo to take on BYU on Friday night, first-touch is 8:00 p.m. CST.

On the Gridiron

The AP Top 25 was released yesterday and Texas Tech moves up 1 spot to No. 10. The writers have still decided not to vote in Oregon State (Only receiving 1 vote. 1 vote!), but somehow keep LSU in the Top 25, the only good win for LSU is over Texas A&M, which we now know isn’t a good football team.
