Leading Off

It’s 4:30 in the morning, and I’m about to hit publish on this thing. I’ve got The Primer coming up here shortly, the game preview for men’s basketball taking on SE Louisiana, and maybe a baseball post. I’m not sure as I’m running pretty ragged at this point.

A-J Media’s Carlos Silva, Jr. has a notebook from head coach Kliff Kingsbury’s Big 12 teleconference, where Silva recaps Antoine Wesley making the Biletnikoff semifinalist list and with some quotes from the always measured Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder on the Texas Tech:

“They’ve done a wonderful job down there offensively,” Snyder said during his Monday medial teleconference. “As far as things being different, I think they’ve probably balanced the offense up a little bit more which makes it that much more difficult to defend. Their numbers are always significant in the passing game, but they’ve run the ball effectively as well.”

Kingsbury also said quarterback Alan Bowman is day-to-day and isn’t sure when he will be back, linebacker Dakota Allen will be a late-in-the-week decision, and Baylor is going to be an 11:00 a.m. kickoff.
