Texas Tech Baseball
Texas Tech lost the third game yesterday, but won the danged series. Full recaps and highlights can be found at the weekend thread and the biggest bummer is that Texas Tech was up 9-3 going into the 9th inning yesterday and Josh Jung, who I don’t think pitched all year, gave up a ton. I mention this in the recap that head coach Tim Tadlock said that he got information from this situation, he didn’t really want to lose the game. There’s also discussion about the bullpen and I just think the bullpen is the weakest part of Texas Tech’s team. You can go check out the stats and there just aren’t a ton of arms that are lights out coming out of the bullpen. Every team has their weaknesses and I think Tadlock was hoping that Jung could be part of the solution as he’s searching for answers. That wasn’t the case.
