News from A-J Media’s Don Williams that linebacker D’Vonta Hinton is no longer with the team.

Kliff Kingsbury just told me that LB D’Vonta Hinton is no longer with the team. Declined to elaborate.

Hinton had been running at the very least second team for part preseason and sat out to focus on academics for part of the spring practice (this is my recollection, so don’t hold me to it). Hinton also seemed to miss time last year during the season, partly with an injury. With Jordyn Brooks, Dakota Allen, Brayden Stringer, as well as younger guys coming up like Riko Jeffers, Johnathan Picone, Jamile Johnson and Christian Taylor, this should be a position group that’s okay.
