The Texas Tech Red Raiders defeated Oklahoma State in the Lubbock Super Regional to advance to Omaha, Nebraska, and the College World Series.
This game was slightly bananas, going back and forth and being tied for a good part of the game, Oklahoma State goes up 6-4 going into the bottom of the 8th inning. Your guy Josh Jung hits his second solo home run of the game, to bring the score 6-5, Cowboys.
Got one back.

And then, little used, Kurt Wilson hits a pinch-hit 3-run home run to put Texas Tech up 8-6, which ended up being the final score.

Wilson wasn’t the only hero and your guys Keith Patrick, Michael LaBarre, Spencer Rogers, and Michael MicDonald will tell you everything you need to know.
For now, it’s important to recognize that Texas Tech is having an absolutely terrific spring and baseball is certainly pulling their weight. Congrats to Tim Tadlock, the coaching staff and the players. This is the fourth year to go to Omaha in the last six seasons for Texas Tech baseball.
