Texas Tech Basketball: 2023-24 Eligibility Chart Version 2

When we last left, the roster was looking a bit slim, but now, I think we’re doing better.

Nevada forward Darrion Williams committed at the beginning of the week, a forard that averaged 7.6 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.4 steals a game.

Last night, Grand Canyon guard Chance McMillian (6-3/185) committed. McMillian averaged 10.9 points a game, 2.2 assists, and 3.1 rebounds on 49% shooting and 44% beyond the arc. Advanced stats say that McMillian is a good shooter, shot very well at the basket despite not being that big and a high-end three-point shooter.

As an aside, I won’t move Williams and Walton over to the committed portion of the table until we know that they are returning. The same thing with Washington, where there was a report that he entered the portal, but then tweeted that he had not entered the portal. That wasn’t necessarily a commitment moving forward so I’m going to hold tight.
