Lubbock Avalanche Journal’s Nathan Giese reports that Drew Steffe has entered the transfer portal and left the team. Steffe has redshirted all year.

A lot of you are asking why and that sort of information is behind paywalls or you can google reddit and you can find the reason there as well. That’s really vauge and I’ve always wanted to maintain that I am not the person or the place where I break information that’s been broken by someone else. I just don’t do it. It’s not my place. This is a hobby for me and I don’t ever want to be wrong about something and then be liable. My life is too short to worry about things like that.

As to those rumors, I also won’t address them because they are rumors so, again, this is really vague, but we’re just going to have to let this news stand own it’s own two feet and go from there.
