Back from Michigan. Can you have a beach vacation in Michigan? Yes you can and it was terrific. No joke. One of our favorite vacations as a family. Highly recommend South Haven and Saugatuck.

Chance McMillian is one of my favorite players ever and he signed an Exhibit 10 contract and Summer League invite with the Golden State Warriors. I wish nothing but success for chance. You’ll be able to catch Chance play on July 5th, 6th, and 8th in Summer League play.

What do you want to develop the most in your game?

“Shooting off the dribble and making the right reads. We have great centers and guards on this team and I want to make the read to get them the ball when shots aren’t there. Always involving my teammates and being ready to take shots and knock them down.”

What do you want your teammates and coaches to say about you?

“That I give it all I have. That I’m competitive and a leader. Never takes a day off.”

The Lady Raiders and Krista Gerlich have hired Renae Boone as a new assistant coach and in charge of recruiting operations. This is a bit of a weird hire in that Boone’s most recent work experience is at Wylie High School and in high schools, but has collegiate experience at Angelo State and Arkansas State University.
