The Lady Raiders make the signing of FIU forward Rhema Collins official:

“Rhema Collins could be the hidden gem of the portal,” Gerlich said. “An athletic, versatile 3-4-5 player who will go get the ball off the rim. She’s aggressive to the basket and led the nation in drawing fouls last season. She is a steal threat on defense and can stretch to the three or post up smaller defenders. Rhema will be a lot to handle on both ends of the court. I love her work ethic, coach ability and competitive spirit. She is another instant Lady Raider Nation favorite.”

Collins had a career season in 2025-26 at FIU. A three-time Conference USA Player of the Week, she was also named the CUSA Player of the Year, CUSA Newcomer of the Year, a First Team All-CUSA selection and to the CUSA All-Defensive Team. Leading the Panthers to a 21-11 overall record and a 12-6 CUSA record to finish second in the league, Collins also helped FIU to the semifinals of the conference tournament and to the Second Round of the WNIT.

Dennis scored in double figures in 19 games last season, including a career-high 21 points against Colorado State and South Dakota. He recorded his first career double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds against UNLV in the WAC Tournament and finished his sophomore season with 17 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals against Wichita State in the NIT. Dennis scored 20-plus points in three games during his second collegiate season after posting 20 points against Utah State where he was 3-for-6 on 3-pointers. For the season, Dennis shot 131-for-252 (52.0%) from the field and made 34 3-pointers.

CBS Sports’ Tom Fornelli breaks down the 2026 NFL quarterback prospects using maths:

While I have not cracked the code, now that I have 15 years of data and results to look back at, what I can confidently say is I’ve found something that’s at least useful. My formula cannot identify future greatness, but it has done a solid job of identifying prospects who aren’t likely to succeed at the next level. My formula is complicated, but simple at the same time. I look at how college quarterbacks performed in three distinct situations: against top-50 defenses, passing situations on third and fourth downs, and in the red zone. These are the three areas that most closely resemble what they’ll be dealing with on an every-down basis in the NFL.

This has Behren Morton as the 12th best quarterback based on these stats, -1.48%, which is better than I would have expected and I also realize that’s a backhanded way of saying what I just said. LSU’s Garrett Nussmier was twice as bad, -3.12%, and Baylor’s Sawyer Robertson is the worst, -4.45%.
