For all of those who love Star Wars, May the 4th be with you.
We were at North Crowley all weekend and if you’d like to see Yo’s first dunk on someone here it is.

On the Diamond
Texas Tech softball defeated Baylor 8-0 on Saturday behind a perfect game from Nijaree Canady, the first of her career, and behind homers from Jasmyn Burns and Lauren Allred. They finished with 50 wins on the year, which is insane, and will now start post-season play with the 2026 Big 12 softball bracket and will take on their most recent opponent, Baylor at 1:30 on Thursday, May 7th, the game on ESPN+.
Texas Tech baseball defeated Baylor 8-3 on Sunday, but had lost the double-header on Saturday. They will host DBU on Tuesday, May 5th, and then host BYU for a weekend series starting on Thursday, May 7th before ending conference play in Cincinnati the following weekend.
On the Hardwood
Just a quick note, former Red Raider Luke Bamgboye committed to TCU over the weekend. This isn’t enough for me to post the eligibility chart, but will note this when I do post the chart.
On the Gridiron
CBS Sports’ Cody Nagel with returning snap percentages for every team, with Texas Tech 21st overall, 52%, and 55% (20th) on offense and 49% (42nd) on defense. Don’t have time to break down the Big 12, but will do so at some point.
I was short on time yesterday (which is why I chose to just post about this) and had time to note that Brendan Sorsby has retained an attorney to regain his eligibility. Good discussion there in the comments, but feel free to discuss here as well.
I listened to this about 2 weeks ago and forgot to post it (because I can be forgetful), but this was a sit-down with offensive coordinator Mack Leftwich and thought it was good.
