Is this a prodigal son situation? Maybe Williams left seeking a better situation or more money or maybe none of that at all and now he’s returned where he had tremendous success as a point-forward. I don’t know what else I have to say that you don’t already know about Williams. He’ll be a tremendous asset to the offense and I feel that the roster is complete and Grant McCasland will have so many options in terms of a lineup and in my brain, Williams plays in front of Spear to an extent.
There’s also the rumor that Donovan Atwell is possibly down to Texas Tech and LSU. LSU currently has like 4 or 5 players on the roster with the fall semester set to start in a couple of weeks. I am sure that Atwell can ask Williams about playing for Will Wade and what that’s like.
And to take care of some administrative things, Jamichael Stillwell and Darrion Williams each officially signed with Texas Tech.
