It’s the first day of December and the Christmas season is in full swing in Lubbock. Alamo Drafthouse will be showing your holiday favorites throughout the month, the 58th Annual Carol of Lights fires off tomorrow, and you can still hitch a ride to the North Pole from Wolfforth. All roads lead through Wolfforth, as the saying goes.
The men’s and women’s basketball teams are in town this week, so catch a game if you can. Football is over, but excitement is high regarding each of these teams. Support your fellow Red Raiders.

The 58th Annual Carol of Lights® will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016. The Carillon Concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. before the ceremony, with the Carol of Lights commencing at 7:00 p.m. The Masked Rider, Saddle Tramps Torch Light Processional, and High Riders will begin the ceremony at the University Seal on Broadway and follow the luminaria lighted route around Memorial Circle to the Science Quadrangle.
