Lufkin receiver Ja’Lynn Polk was the 2nd of four known commits on Saturday.

As a sophomore, Polk caught 40 passes for 667 yards, about 17 yards a catch, and 6 touchdowns, while as a junior, Polk had 695 yards on 37 receptions, about 19 yards per catch, and 9 touchdowns. Polk is a big-bodied receiver who just dominates smaller defensive backs with his size and strength. And it’s not just the size, but Polk moves really well in space and he’s already got a really nice ability to go up and get the ball. Plenty fast and his physicality is what sets him apart. In fact, that may be my favorite part of Polk’s game, his ability to move in space and miss defenders.

Ja’Lynn, Welcome to Texas Tech and Git Your Guns Up!
