Texas Tech Wins Lubbock Regional, Advances to the Super Regional

If you want a one-stop shop, the regional thread is fully updated EXCEPT that the official site has not released any of the highlights from last night’s 8-2 win over UCLA. Just to catch up, Texas Tech beat Army 6-3 in the first game of the regional, while North Carolina beat UCLA in the second game on Friday.

On Saturday, UCLA eliminated Army with a 13-6 win over the Golden Knights, and in the nightcap, Texas Tech beat North Carolina 7-2. Sunday would prove to be too grueling for UCLA, as they had a complete game from Zach Pettway in taking down North Carolina 12-2, eliminating the Tar Heels, and then Texas Tech would win the regional with last night’s 8-2 win over the Bruins.
