On the Court

Yesterday was a big day for Texas Tech basketball as JT Toppin was named Big 12 Player of the Year, Toppin and Darrion Williams were named to the All-Big 12 First Team (Toppin was also on the Newcomer Team), Chance McMillian was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team, and Christian Anderson was named to the All-Freshman Team. In reviewing the selections, it’s difficult to argue with excluding any of those players:

ESPN has a Big 12 preview for spring football, things to watch for each team so a good primer.

This was yesterday’s presser with head coach Joey McGuire and it was fine. I don’t know that we learned anything new as it was the first day of practice and McGuire has praise for most of the players (they all had good days).
