Huge congrats to Texas Tech softball who won both games yesterday to then secure their first Big 12 title in program history! A 9-0 win in the first game and a 3-0 win in the second. They have their final game of the series today at noon.

Texas Tech baseball split their double-header, winning the first game 12-3, but dropped the second game 2-1. The series finale is today at 12:30 p.m.

On the Gridiron

Congrats to running back Tahj Brooks who was drafted in the 6th round by the Cincinnati Bengals in day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft. Brooks was the 193rd pick overall.

“I’m very blessed that the Bengals organization drafted me,” said Brooks. “It was awesome. It put a smile to my face. Me and the running backs coach (Justin Hill) go very well. He was a guy that recruited me in college and I’m glad I got to be back with him.”

Texas Tech has an undrafted free agent tracker and TE Jalin Conyers was picked up by the Miami Dophins, WR Josh Kelly by the Dallas Cowboys, CB Bralyn Lux by the Cincinnati Bengals, and S C.J. Baskerville by the Denver Broncos.
