Day 2 in Lawrence, Kansas. Yo’s team lost on Friday night, but won 2 games yesterday and we play at 8:00 a.m. this morning as part of bracket play. Who knows after that.

On the Diamond

Texas Tech softball defeated Arizona State 7-5 ton win a share of the Big 12 title. Kaitlyn Terry didn’t record an out adn gave up 2 runs, but Nijaree Canady went 7, giving up 3 while striking out 9. The final game of this series is today at 1:00 p.m.

Texas Tech baseball lost to Oklahoma State 9-8 after being up through the first 6 innings. Just feels like such bad luck. To be clear if you are looking for someone to be critical of the baseball program I’m not the guy to do that, I think I lack the knowledge to really understand everything happening with the program other than the wins and losses. My knowledge is largely surface level.

On the Gridiron

Day 3 of the NFL Draft saw 4 more players drafted, which is a school record 9 total players drafted. Pretty terrific. The players drafted on Day 3:
