The NBA Draft is tonight and tomorrow and Christian Anderson is likely the only pick for Texas Tech with Donovan Atwell having an outside shot of being drafted in the 2nd round. Here are some recent mock drafts:

Lubbock Avalanche-Journal’s Nathan Giese has Anderson’s best moments as a Red Raider.

I find it interesting when other outlets write about Texas Tech and here we have Desert News’ Brandon Judd on why Texas Tech might not miss Brendan Sorsby (this is not a hit piece if you were curious, this is all positivity):

From a Big 12 perspective, the Red Raiders won’t face two of their other primary contenders, BYU and Utah, during the regular season. Additionally, of Texas Tech’s other conference games against projected contenders — Houston, Arizona, Arizona State and TCU — all are at home.

In ESPN’s initial spring SP+ rankings released in late March, Texas Tech was ranked No. 7, more than 10 spots above the next-highest Big 12 team, BYU, at No. 18, while Utah was next at No. 25.

Even factoring in the loss of Sorsby, it’s believable Texas Tech is still the team to beat.

On3’s Thomas Goldkamp on Texas Tech booster Cody Campbell calling out UCF athletic director Terry Mohajir for filing a lawsuit to seek an additional year of eligibility for Kansas transfer DE Dean Miller:

While not completely apples to apples, Campbell found some comments from Mohajir on June 9 in reference to the Brendan Sorsby case. Mohajir, like many Big 12 administrators, stood in opposition to the court’s ruling granting Sorsby a temporary injunction against the NCAA that would have allowed him to play in 2026.

“Institutions cannot control court rulings, legal strategies or judicial outcomes,” Campbell quoted Mohajir on Twitter. “What we can control is playing time and the standards we set for participation in our programs.”

Draw your own conclusions on the implications of Campbell resurfacing that comment after Miller’s lawsuit. In any case, he’s certainly not afraid of being vocal, when it comes to Brendan Sorsby or conference matters in general.
