Fire at the Indoor Practice Facility
Yesterday, there was a small fire, but it looked significant, at the construction site of the indoor practice facility. No one was injured and the damage appeared to be minimal and the result of some roofing material catching fire from a weld. The Daily Toreador has more photos.

You don’t see that too often, a walk-off win with two walks that led to the tying run and the winning run, as Texas Tech defeated UNLV 5-4 to sweep the two-game series (Recap | Box Score). Freshman Caleb Freeman got the start, but this was a group effort. Freeman, Parker Mushinski, Erikson Lanning and Jose Quezada all pitched at least 2 innings with Quezada earning the win. The offense only managed 5 hits, but they also walked 9 times. Make sure and watch the highlights, Michael Davis sold that bunt to get that last ball was absolutely terrific.
