Via D1Baseball, third baseman Josh Jung was named Freshman All-America first team and outfielder Grant Little was named the second team. Pretty good stuff.

Derrick Mitchell, Jr. announced on Twitter that he would not be attending Texas Tech this fall. This was somewhat expected as Mitchell didn’t show up early this summer and things just seemed a bit uneven with Mitchell. Another reason why maybe Texas Tech and Tre King may have decided to commit to each other (in a totally platonic sort of way). King’s Twitter has he is a Texas Tech running back so there’s that.
Because of personal things and the need to be closer to home I will not be attending Texas Tech in the fall
