The national seeds are UCLA (1), Vanderbilt (2), Georgia Tech (3), Georgia (4), Arkansas, (5), Mississippi State (6), Louisville (7), and Texas Tech (8). Oklahoma State was the 9th national seed, which means they would play in Lubbock should they advance in their regional.

Texas Tech, Oregon State, Stanford, and Arkansas are the the only four teams in the nation to host a regional for the past three years in a row and of course Texas Tech also hosted in 2016.
