Arlington wide receiver Kelby Vaslin joins the 2023 recruiting class.

Since this arrived on the 4th of July, there wasn’t any sort of accompanying story. Valsin is terrific at the hesi (that’s kids-speak for “hesitation” or double-move) and it gets him open deep really well when coverage is soft. When it’s not soft, then one-on-one, he’s really tough to beat. I’d even add that if there’s single-coverage, if his quarterback doesn’t throw him the ball, he’s getting benched (this is me being dramatic and don’t really think he would be benched). And his high-point is very high and does a terrific job of judging when to jump and jumping over those defenders. As an aside, in his 24/7 link, it says that his brother Jimmy plays for Oregon State.
