UCF swept Texas Tech volleyball pretty badly last night, especially that first set.

Texas Tech baseball promoted Joe Hughes to assistant coach from his director of operations role, and Eric Gutierrez moved to director of operations from his volunteer assistant coach role:

“We moved Eric Gutierrez into the director of ops role which will allow him to keep evolving as a division I coach,” said head coach Tim Tadlock. “Joseph Hughes and I had an agreement all the way back to 11 years ago when we all first came here, basically said if a coaching position ever became open, he’d definitely be considered, he’s going to be good at whatever he does, and he’s been doing a good job so far.”

The All-Big 12 preseason team for women’s basketball was released and Bailey Maupin was named to the honorable mention category, the only Lady Raider receiving this preseason honor. The full list of recipients are at the link.
