Texas Tech received the commitment from Gideon Gash. Gash is the son of former NFL’er Sam Gash, the fullback who won a couple of Super Bowls with New England. And Gideon’s mother played volleyball at New Mexico, while his brother is a receiver at Michigan State and that’s where Gideon was projected to go (even though Sam went to Penn State). Gideon is a top-100 player so this is a huge commitment for the program.

Head coach Joey McGuire was on a Josh Pate show/podcast. I don’t know that there was anything new, but is something to watch.
