Texas Tech commit Jett Duffey competed at the Elite 11 in Beaverton Oregon and we’ve got the highlights and updates from day 1.
Overall Updates. The Oregonian has some terrific overall updates that are worth your time. They have a photo updates and a video update.
Duffey’s Pretty Good. The Oregonian’s Andrew Nemec checks in from the Elite 11 and has some pretty cool things to write about Jett Duffey:
Jett Duffey, a Texas Tech commit, is a dual-threat quarterback, so pocket passing in a camp setting isn’t supposed to be be “his thing,” yet he still performed admirably and put nice zip on a number of short passes. It makes sense why he was able to outperform so many other quality signal-callers in regional events to earn MVP awards.
The 6-foot-0, 171-pound quarterback wasn’t even on the radar a few months ago and still isn’t a top 1,000-prospect nationally. That will absolutely change after this week.
He’s a good football player.
