The Lady Raiders (13-16,5-13 Big12) play the TCU Horned Frogs (12-17,4-14 Big12) on Friday, March 3, 2017. This will be the 50th meeting between these two teams and the 3rd game this season. Texas Tech holds the series lead 41-8. Although the season has not turned out like it started, the losses once Big12 Conference play started were many, the Lady Raiders need to win tonight. The 2017 Phillips 66 Big12 Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament are the final games for this season. If the Lady Raiders can play like they did last Monday night with assertiveness and good cohesive teamwork they can beat TCU tonight and may have a chance to beat Baylor tomorrow. I would like the final games to show that this program has grown this season and will make a solid mark next season.
