This was fun to listen to and I don’t usually recommend listening to press conferences, but Gerald Myers, Chris Beard, Bubba Jennings, and Andy Ellis were part of a press conference in the old Coliseum, where Texas Tech will play Rice on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and the Lady Raiders will play UT Rio Grande Valley at 2:00 p.m.

Neither game will be televised, so if you want to watch either game, you’ll need to be in attendance. Also, if you have season tickets, they do not apply to this game, you’ll have to buy tickets and for the next two days, you can get half price tickets and I think even get a free ticket to the Kennesaw State game on Wednesday.

The alumni game starts at 5:00 p.m. and features some really terrific former Red Raider basketballers will will participate in the game.

Kinda funny hearing Bubba talk about the type of team he wants to run out there, lots of three-point shooting and how Ellis is going to have to guard Tony Battie, which Ellis is not looking forward to doing. Also really fun hearing the stories from Gerald Myers and Jennings and Ellis, they all told some really great stories.
