Culver Signs with Minnesota; Will Sit Out Summer League. Former Texas Tech basketballer Jarrett Culver made it official and signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves. It was also announced that Culver would not play in any of the Minnesota summer league games.

Zhaire Smith Plays Well. Zhaire Smith essentially missed his rookie year as a result of getting sick because of an allergic reaction and this summer league is an excellent opportunity for him to get back on the court and get into the flow, which is exactly what he did.
