It’s good to be home. Texas Tech returns to Rip Griffin Park this weekend to host West Virginia looking to improve on its stellar 18-1 home record this season. Since April 1, the Red Raiders have played 10 of 13 games away from home in four different states and three different time zones. Tech is 2-8 in those games away from home, but was perfect in its only games at home this month, sweeping Big 12 foe K-State. Friday’s meeting between Texas Tech and West Virginia will be the 31st all-time meeting between the two programs that sport a dead even 15-15 series record, but the Red Raiders have had the edge at home, winning seven of nine contests.

John Harris and Mike Gustafson will call the game from inside Rip Griffin Park as coverage will be provided via Big 12 Now on ESPN+ on Friday and Sunday. Chris Sylvester joins Gustafson for the call on Saturday. The broadcast can be accessed from any desktop or laptop computer, any personal cellular device and television streaming services using the ESPN app. Registration for the subscription service can be found at ESPNPlus.com.

Texas Tech Sports Network will also broadcast the game over 46 affiliates throughout the state of Texas and New Mexico as Geoff Haxton will have the call and will be joined by Chois Woodman in the booth for this weekend’s broadcast.
